Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform accurate laboratory tests on patient specimens to aid in diagnosis and treatment
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and function
• Follow strict quality control and safety protocols to deliver reliable results
• Document and report test findings with precision and clarity
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate patient care
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with lab equipment or procedures as they arise

Qualifications

• Current MLT certification (ASCP or AMT) or equivalent
• Missouri state licensure if required for the role
• Previous experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or in a clinical lab setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in laboratory information systems and diagnostic equipment
• Solid understanding of specimen handling, testing methods, and quality assurance
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
