Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control
• Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare providers in a timely manner
• Follow strict safety, infection control, and HIPAA protocols
• Document and verify patient information, test procedures, and results
• Participate in quality assurance and proficiency testing programs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Current Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification such as ASCP or AMT
• Missouri state licensure as required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work flexible per diem hours
• Prior clinical laboratory experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and equipment
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
• Understanding of quality control and safety standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
