Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform accurate laboratory tests and analyses on patient specimens
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure reliable results
• Follow established quality control and safety protocols
• Document and report test results with precision
• Assist in specimen collection and processing
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through ASCP or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited MLT educational program
• Current Missouri state licensure if required
• Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of laboratory safety, quality control, and infection prevention
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems and electronic reporting
• Skill in specimen collection, handling, and processing
• Familiarity with hematology, chemistry, and microbiology testing
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment
