Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples to assist in diagnosis and treatment
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory analyzers to ensure accurate and reliable results
• Review and verify test results, documenting findings accurately in the laboratory information system
• Follow strict quality control, safety, and infection prevention protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to deliver timely diagnostics
• Process and prepare specimens for testing, ensuring proper handling and labeling

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via ASCP or AMT
• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program
• Prior clinical laboratory experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Working knowledge of laboratory information systems and automated analyzers
• Understanding of quality control, safety, and infection prevention standards
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
