Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests on patient samples with accuracy and precision
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure reliable results
• Review and verify test results, record data, and report critical values promptly
• Follow strict quality control and safety protocols to keep every result dependable
• Collaborate with the care team to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Maintain a clean, organized lab space and manage specimen processing efficiently

Qualifications

• Current Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
• Washington state MLT licensure, if applicable
• New graduates and experienced MLTs are welcome to apply
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred

Education

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and safety standards
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic health records
• Skill in specimen collection, handling, and processing
• Understanding of quality control and proficiency testing
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
