Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient specimens
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment while ensuring quality control standards
• Accurately record and report test results to support patient care decisions
• Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic information

Qualifications

• Certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent (ASCP preferred)
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality control
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic health records
• Understanding of medical terminology and specimen handling
• Proficient in phlebotomy and specimen collection techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking
