Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 6 hours per shift, as needed
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist nursing and medical staff with patient care procedures
- Take and record vital signs, height, and weight accurately
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures
- Document patient information in the electronic medical record
- Manage patient flow and ensure a welcoming, comforting environment
- Support patient and family education as directed by the care team
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
- Current Medical Assistant certification or registration in Oregon
- Current BLS certification for healthcare providers
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of vital sign measurement and patient preparation
- Comfort with electronic health records and documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, families, and staff
