Shift Type: Per diem, flexible 6-hour shifts, days and times vary based on your availability
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all supplies are stocked and ready
- Obtain and record patient vital signs, height, weight, and medical histories
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during patient exams and procedures
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and lab specimen collection
- Manage patient intake, charting, and appointment scheduling using the EMR system
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining a safe environment
Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible per diem hours based on department needs
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong vital sign assessment and patient intake skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Compassionate approach to patient care and family interaction
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
