Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidential records
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical equipment is clean and ready
- Educate patients and their families on care plans and follow-up instructions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for every patient
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is helpful
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Skill in assessing patient vital signs and performing basic lab tests
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
