Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care
  • Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain confidential records
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical equipment is clean and ready
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans and follow-up instructions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for every patient

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is helpful
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Skill in assessing patient vital signs and performing basic lab tests
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
