Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and support to pediatric patients and their families
• Assist physicians and nurses with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment is sterilized and ready
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification or registration required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably pediatrics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and customer service skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Strong attention to detail
