Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: Wyncote, Pennsylvania
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem night shift, 7:00 PM - 11:30 PM (schedule varies, nights)
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care to residents at the Hopkins Center
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assess patient status, record vital signs, and report changes promptly
- Document care in the patient record thoroughly and professionally
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support residents and families with clear communication and empathy
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Active LPN licensure (Licensed Practical Nurse) — required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Previous LPN experience preferred, especially in long-term care or rehab settings
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work independently during night shifts
- Reliable professional references and a commitment to resident-centered care
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent vocational nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid medication administration and documentation skills
- Proficient in basic nursing assessments and vital sign monitoring
- Comfortable with electronic charting and clear written notes
- Good communication and teamwork skills with interdisciplinary staff
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
