IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Start Date: 05-24-2026

End Date: 08-23-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with rotational call after hours, Friday 4 pm through Monday 7:30 am, and on-call rotation on holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform imaging procedures in Interventional Radiology
Work effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
Operate and maintain GE Innova, MedRad Injector, GE Logic Book, and Angiojet equipment

Qualifications

ARRT (RT)(R) certification preferred
Visual Inspection (VI) certification
Experience working in Interventional Radiology
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically CERNER/RADNET
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
