Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all rehabilitation services, ensuring high‑quality patient care
• Develop and implement therapeutic programs tailored to adult and geriatric residents
• Manage a multidisciplinary rehab team, fostering collaboration and professional growth
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal recovery
• Coordinate with nursing, medical, and administrative staff to integrate rehab services seamlessly
• Maintain compliance with Medicare and Medicaid regulations and facility policies

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech‑Language Pathologist
• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in long‑term care rehabilitation
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a skilled‑nursing or nursing‑home setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team and family interactions
• Ability to develop budgets, schedules, and quality improvement initiatives

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation techniques
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid billing and documentation requirements
• Staff scheduling and performance management
• Quality assurance and outcome measurement
• Effective conflict resolution and team motivation
