Location: National City, CA
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49.58 - $34.71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive first impression
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily calendar
- Verify patient information and assist with dental records filing
- Use dental terminology accurately when coordinating care with the clinical team
- Communicate clearly with patients in English and Spanish as needed
- Document patient interactions in the electronic record system and maintain confidentiality
- Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to keep the front office running smoothly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a general office setting
- Experience in a dental office setting preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and dental records filing preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Experience with EPIC is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Office administration and front desk operations
- Dental terminology and dental records management
- Appointment scheduling and calendar management
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Comfortable learning and using EPIC or similar electronic health records
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential patient information
- Clear bilingual communication (English/Spanish)
