Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement individualized therapy interventions following each patient's occupational therapy plan of care
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner to support continuity of care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities and strategies to promote independence
- Communicate patient status and response to treatment with the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a safe environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California (or ability to obtain)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Education
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and interventions
- Skilled in patient education and family training
- Proficient in clinical documentation and record keeping
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
