Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep them safe and comfortable
• Take and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
• Support patients with meals and hydration while monitoring dietary needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment
• Document care deliverables accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Prior CNA experience in an acute care or long-term care setting is a plus
• Ability to work flexible, as-needed shifts and adapt quickly to different units
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for patient care
• Must meet all facility compliance requirements including background checks

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic patient care, infection prevention, and safety protocols
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and documenting care
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to notice changes in patient condition
• Physical capability to lift, transfer, and support patients safely
• Empathy, patience, and a team-first mindset
