Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and report vital signs, symptoms, and changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Support residents with meals, feeding, and hydration needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and staff
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
• Respond promptly to call lights and provide excellent customer service to residents and families

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with residents and families
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
