Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to patients, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Support nursing staff in patient assessments and report changes in condition
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents and staff
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift or turn patients using proper techniques

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care, hygiene assistance, and vital signs measurement
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Teamwork and the ability to follow care plans
• Empathy and patience when working with residents
