Role Description
As a Registered Nurse in Telemetry, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting patients' cardiac rhythms, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
Registered Nurse Telemetry Responsibilities
- Monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop care plans
- Educating patients and their families about healthcare and medical procedures
- Evaluating and assessing patient needs, and providing appropriate interventions
- Maintaining accurate and complete medical records and ensuring patient confidentiality
- Responding to emergencies and providing immediate medical attention
- Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment
- Maintaining and updating equipment and supplies used in Telemetry
- Ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Registered Nurse Telemetry Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Must have 1 years of telemetry experience
- Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Document Requirements
- Active RN license required
- AHA BLS required
