Shift: – 13 week contract Night Shift (07:00 – 19:30) every 36hr/week

Pay/Salary:  UPTO $3850 WEEKLY GROSS , hourly gross pay upto $107/hr

Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team. As an RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication, and the ability to inspire and mentor the nursing team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and supervision: Provide effective leadership to the nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care.

  2. Patient care coordination: Oversee patient care activities, ensuring that all nursing interventions and treatments are carried out in accordance with established protocols and individualized care plans. Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans as needed.

  3. Quality assurance and compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards, healthcare policies, and infection control protocols. Conduct routine audits and assessments to maintain high-quality care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  4. Staff training and development: Provide orientation and training to new nursing staff, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities for existing team members. Mentor and support staff in their career growth and encourage a culture of continuous learning.

  5. Performance evaluation and feedback: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to nursing staff. Recognize and acknowledge exceptional performance while identifying areas for improvement and providing support for growth.

  6. Interdisciplinary collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordinated patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute valuable insights to improve patient outcomes.

  7. Problem-solving and conflict resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise among nursing staff or in patient care. Implement solutions to improve teamwork, communication, and overall unit performance.

  8. Documentation and record-keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records, documenting all nursing activities, assessments, and interventions. Ensure timely and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license 
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an RN, with prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications, as applicable
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare facility
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
