Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Lynwood , CA
Contract: Per Diem
Shift: Day
RN Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients' health conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform nursing procedures and interventions, such as wound care, catheterization, and IV administration.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments, in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their loved ones, addressing their concerns and answering questions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, including assessments, interventions, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs), nursing assistants, and other support staff as necessary.
Requirements:
- Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Demonstrated clinical competence and proficiency in nursing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Dedication to providing patient-centered care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and healthcare technology.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
