Job Summary and Qualifications
The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.
Administers treatments and occupational equipment as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
What qualifications you will need:
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Masters Degree, or Bachelors Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
The Hospital is a 238-bed acute care hospital. For 40 years, we have served Bay County and the surrounding communities. We are an accredited facility offering comprehensive care. This includes advanced cardiac assessment and treatment. We offer certified women's services. Our hospital has dedicated spaces for adult and pediatric emergency services. We are certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care. Our hospital is accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center. We are the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. Other services that we offer include orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac, vascular, and interventional services. We are home to the only Pediatric ER in the community. We have the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the region. Together, we continue to raise the bar in healthcare.
Additional Information:
· Shift times: Days, Monday through Friday and rotating some weekends
· Must have experience – will consider new grads but prefer candidates with adult experience
· In the inpatient rehab setting
Sal range:
new grad is $32.52 per hour.
5 years’ experience is $37.40 per hour
10 years’ experience is $40.65 per hour
