The Division Quality Coordinator will support 18 hospitals and the FSEDs in the West Florida Division supervising and driving the Division Laboratory Quality Assurance programs under the direction of the IRL Quality Director, Division Director and medical directors to meet patient care and regulatory agency requirements.

Job Summary and Qualifications
- Support 18 hospitals and the FSEDs in the West Florida Division supervising and administering the Division Laboratory Quality Assurance programs under the direction of the IRL Quality Director, Division Director and medical directors to meet patient care and regulatory agency requirements.
- Consult and lead the quality initiatives and strategies and build strong relationships with division key stakeholders to include medical directors and administrators
- Monitor all regulatory agency inspection preparedness activities.
- Facilitate and build strong relationships with department leaders to implement new programs, monitor performance, collect and evaluate performance data and root/cause analysis, develop corrective action plans, assist in the training and education of personnel regarding quality activities
- Support the Quality and Division Directors in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities
- Position is based at the WFL Market Laboratory in Largo, FL (min of 3 days/week) with about 40% travel with limited overnight travel.
What qualifications you will need:
- 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology
- State of Florida Supervisor’s license in all specialty areas or the ability to obtain
- 3-5 years of quality assurance and regulatory agency compliance experience
- 1-3 years in a clinical laboratory setting with quality assurance and/or point-of-care testing
- Strong presentation skills to C-suite and key stakeholders
- Successful communication and relationship building skills
- Proficient user with Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, One Note.
- Ability to work min of 3 days/week on-site at the WFL Market Lab in Largo, FL and travel to division hospitals and FSED's.
It is a full service provider for clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology services, providing hospitals, physicians, and clients with timely diagnostic information for patient care. Our infrastructure includes a fully automated esoteric core laboratory in Fort Lauderdale, a histology and microbiology operation in Largo, Florida, and a network of hospital based rapid-response laboratories present in four HCA Healthcare divisions within the state of Florida. Our core laboratories support more than 250 acute and rehab hospitals, physician practices, surgery centers and commercial accounts.
Summary:

Work Hours
• M-F with flexibility to work as needed.
• Exempt position
• 90% of the time it’s Monday through Friday. The only requirement is three days per week at the Market lab in Largo Florida.
• There is travel through the West Florida division (approx. 4-5 days per month)
Pay range 80 – 95K
